It has been a long time since I had written a journal, so I suppose it would be good to tell you what I have been up to. ^_^
First of all, I had changed jobs! For the past two years, I have worked with the Kansas Department of Commerce (a state job) as a database administrator and gained both experience and greater knowledge within my career! I feel like I am finally a fully fledged database admin. ^_^ It was a fun job, and I was sad to leave it; but I really wanted to make more money. Employees who work for the state rarely get raises, and this was set by our state governor. So, employees who work for the state usually get raises by switching to different jobs in their department, or going to a different department all together. Now I work for the Judicial Department. I originally planned to start looking for higher paying positions for another six months to a year; but a former employee in my company had referred me, and I decided to apply and interview. I got hired within 1 day after the interview, which was absolutely startling! I gave three weeks notice to Commerce, not only to give good notice, but to also finish the projects I was working on. I left that place on super good terms, and was told that I just have to call if I ever want to come back. I love that place!
Judicial is interesting, and I am still learning their database and server environments. It's not as structured and documented as the environments were in Commerce, but I plan to completely learn all of it; and help the team with documentation. So yea, it's awesome! I am making quite a bit more money, and feel that I am rally growing in my career.
Career comes first, and since I have been so job focused on finishing up the last job and starting the new one; I have been just coming home completely exhausted mentally and watching shows with Sean. Once Sean starts gaming, I would just go to bed, read, derp on the internet, or start looking over my notes. I just have not been feeling settled enough to get back into my hobbies; so that's why I have been so inactive. The bad news is that all of my inactivity with art lately has made me gradually less practiced; and I have almost been afraid to start it up again. lol It's stupid; I'm afraid of art! XD I just have insecurities with it just like many artists; so I'm not unique by having those types of issues. ^_^ Heehee, I will draw again eventually though!
Other than that, just been having fun with Sean. When I start drawing again, I want to do a bit of comics as to what my day to day life is like. When I talk with my coworkers about the silly things Sean and I do, the majority of them are rather surprised and I feel like we are outside of the norm for the most part. We are silly individuals who do cute things, so I think it's comic worthy! :3 Yay! I also want a kitten but our apartment only allows for two pets. Thought I would share that!
I have since watched: Archer, Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty season 2, Legend of Korra, Erased, Hero Academia, Re:Zero, Dimension W, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Noragami, Flying Witch, The Amazing Wold of Gumball, South Park episode 1 to current, and much more!

Been playing Zelda!
Hi everyone!!! It's been an interesting year so far, I suppose!
I have not been terribly active here lately, but I've been having fun never the less!
First of all, Sean and I have pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch the night of the big Nintendo Press Conference in January. Since receiving it in March, I have been ecstatically playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild and enjoying all of the greatness it has to offer! :D IT.IS.FANTASTIC!!!! I mean, I rate it to the same level as Ocarina of Time! So freaking awesome!!! Awkward Morning Is Awkward
Haha, I haven't written much on the journal front lately! I guess mostly, I have been actually pretty busy or too lazy to do much with it, while other times dictated that I had little to say beyond what I already detail in my deviation's description boxes. But I suppose I am writing now simply because this morning is so awkward that I just want to express how I feel in words while in my coffee induced brain-buzz that was supposed to be in preparation for an early start at work this morning.

I want to let all of you know that my surgery went well on 02/27/2015, and I am still recovering at home before returning to work and all of the regular life stuff. ^_^ And for anyone who did not know, I announced in a deviation that I am having elective surgery and it is very minor. 'I'm not dying, did not get into an accident, or any of that. It's not any weird cosmetic surgery I don't need and I'm not removing any of my arms or toes. lol It's actually a personal surgery that I have wanted to get for a long time; but never had a stable job with insurance that will pay for it and most doctors won't do it if your in your 20's.' I have not been online for a bit because the last couple of weeks were so odd. XD After a few days of being married, I had become very very sick with the same horrible virus that has been going around the whole company I work in. On top of that, everyone at Sean's work was sick too! So I spent a very miserable week mostly on the couch or in bed. I worked a few of those days only to find that my bosses were sick too. Its been almost a year since I last drew something more than a doodle. I understand your trepidation. I recently acquired Archer season 1 and 2 dirt cheap so I have been watching those again. Funny stuff.
